We are a small Boutique kennel with the emphasis on breeding for Type, Soundness and Movement, but always mindful of the Glamour factor.

Tryst gained her Australian Champion title at just 12 and a half months, was Irish Setter Club of Victoria’s Bitch of the Year in 2006, and is a lovely example of the breed who is perfectly handled by Jazmyn Wray.

 

About Us:

This is us on our trip to the States last year for the National.
(Of course you know what he’s doing…whenever he sees a camera it’s something silly!)

Our prefix EIREAN was suggested by Keith’s mum who is from Eire.  It means "of Eire" which is of course Southern Ireland.

We have always had dogs … my first Irish Setter was Patrona Red Riot who won the Novice Obedience ribbon at the 1966 Royal Melbourne Show.

We also breed Welsh Mountain Ponies and our Multi Champion Stallion, which we bred,  Windermere Desert Storm stands at stud.

We have our own company Cryo Genes Pty Ltd Importing and Exporting Frozen Canine Semen, which we also store, handle and move locally within Australia.
