The 2014 Royal Melbourne Show will be held from

Saturday 20 September through to Wednesday 1 October.

Mr LUIS CATALAN     (Portugal)

Group 3 (Gundogs) (less Labradors, Weimaraners, Weimaraners (Long Hair) & GROUP SPECIALS

Born in Lisbon in 1955, Luis has had breed involvement with English and American Cockers, Basset Hounds and Whippets.

He is currently Vice-President of the Board of Clube Portugal’s de Canicultura (CPC), President of the CPC Show Committee, Member of the FCI Show Committee and President of the Portuguese Spaniel Club. International Judge for FCI Groups 4, 6, 8 and 10 and BIS, several breeds of Group 1, and Dobermann.  He has officiated at Championship Dog Shows in the majority of the European countries. He has also judged in USA and World and European Dog Shows.

As a Speciality Judge (including national Specialties) he has been invited to judge the following breeds: all Sighthounds, Portuguese Breeds, Basset Hound, and all Gundogs in several European countries.

Mr Catalan is fluent in English, French and Spanish.

The 2014 Royal Melbourne Championship Dog Show Schedule will be distributed by Dogs Victoria

and available for download via the RASV in early May.
