   I am very interested to get a mature Irish Setter (adoption or rescue). I have always had dogs, presently have a 7 year old female pound puppy (shepherd/irish wolfhound + others?). I have always wanted an Irish Setter and have finally decided to try and find one – probably my last dog/bitch as I am in my 70s. I have a large back yard and take my Bridie to the dog park daily. It would be very much loved and cared for. Age doesn’t matter but preferably somewhere between 4 and 8.

   Hi, I live in Brisbane and am looking for a young Irish setter. I have 2 young girls, aged 10 and 9. We are an Irish family and were brought up with setters, I just love the breed and would love my girls to have one. I would appreciate any suggestions or help. We would prefer a young dog to a puppy.
