After commencing her show career in Victoria, Req was campaigned in Perth (Western Australia) by Michelle Briggs. However, she spent her retirement as the constant companion of Geoff Boag who would often be seen walking with her on the streets of Essendon back in Victoria.
Requiem had great success in her show career the highlight being Best In Group at Perth Royal Show in 1998.
Her son, Aust Grand & Am Ch Eireannmada Fortuitous (Roddy) was a Mutiple BIS winner in Australia before going to the USA. He has been the most successful Australian bred Irish Setter in the USA.
